    What is andropause ?

    Andropause, often called "male menopause," refers to the gradual decline in testosterone levels that occurs in men typically after age 30, with more noticeable effects usually appearing between ages 40-55. Unlike female menopause, which involves a relatively rapid hormonal shift, andropause is characterized by a slow, steady decrease in testosterone production of about 1-2% per year.

    Can be caused by several different factors, chronic stress, leading to high cortisol, which can block testosterone release, Sedentary lifestyles, poor nutrition, and excessive alcohol consumption can also accelerate testosterone decline.

    Low testosterone is also associated with insulin resistance and increased cardiovascular disease risk. Some noticeable signs include weight gain, particularly around the stomach, low libido, erectile dysfunction, fatigue, loss of muscle mass and strength.

    While supplements can help, without addressing the root causes, including muscle loss, metabolic slowdown, poor sleep, chronic stress, and declining physical activity, low testosterone cannot be addressed by pills alone. Without addressing these underlying factors through regular exercise, proper nutrition, stress management, and adequate sleep, men may see minimal improvement in their symptoms regardless of supplement use.
